Today is the first day of spring, it seems we've been waiting a very long winter. The sky is blue, the air is warm, and the birds are singing. I always remember the first day of spring, because it's also my sweet Husbands Birthday. He is out of town, so the celebrating will have to wait. I love the first signs of spring, it was a little hard to find them today, but nevertheless they were there, just more of a challenge to find. The tree is starting to bud, my daisies are pushing there way up through the dirt, and one of my new plants that we planted in the fall has tiny pink flowers on it... all of these reminding me to enjoy the newness that spring brings, slow down a bit, and be grateful for all of the little things in life.
